A Year of Creating Dangerously, Day 6: Hey, Gourgeous

Winter is fully upon us here in Canada. I have a conflicted relationship with this season. It can be so beautiful and clear, the sun shines bright when it appears. I am fascinated by the play of Winter’s light. But it can be nasty and hard on you. I am only guessing, but it may a be a bit like dating a supermodel:  She’s gorgeous but way too high maintenance. Is it worth it? I’ll let you answer that…

One of the ways I like to create is with a camera. One day I might actually take the time to find out what my camera actually does. At this point, I usually just point and shoot and hope for the best. But I love the composition I can do through the viewfinder as well as the composition I can do back home as I edit the photos. It has become another creative release for me. Though the photos I share were taken a couple of years ago, it looked much like this around here just recently!
